Cut Optimizer is a powerful feature that will optimize either Cut Depth or Cut Width to be as large as possible without incurring too much tool deflection. It's a powerful feature, but we'll save it for later.

If you want to cut the full width of the cutter, just click the Slot button and that'll be entered into the Cut Width.
